Dr. Kimberly Kilby is the Assistant Dean for Undergraduate Medical Education at Albany Medical College in Albany, NY, where she oversees the clinical portions of the medical school curriculum. She is an Associate Professor in the Departments of Family Medicine, Surgery, and Medical Education. She works clinically for Albany Medical Center’s Bariatrics and Nutrition Group where she helps patients work on lifestyle and behavior changes to reduce their medical morbidity and improve their overall health. She is passionate about wellness and the public health efforts to modify our home, school, and work environments to make choosing wellness the easy choice in our day to day life. She is a graduate of Albany Medical College, obtained her MPH degree from the University at Albany School of Public Health, and is Board Certified in Family Medicine, Preventive Medicine, and Obesity Medicine. Dr. Kilby completed her family medicine residency during which she served as Chief Resident at the University of Vermont. She subsequently completed the New York State Preventive Medicine Residency program. When not at work, Dr. Kilby enjoys training for endurance running and triathlon events. She is a singer/songwriter and performs throughout the Capital Region. She especially enjoys spending time with her partner and children.
